Inner Child Yoga

May15

When: Saturday, June 10, 2023. 4:00 PM 6:00 PM

Where: Havenly Counseling Collective, 987 University Avenue, Los Gatos, CA, 95032

Cost: $35

Inside all of us lies a part of ourselves that sometimes inadvertently runs the show based on childhood experiences.

In this workshop, we will use the openness, depth, and connection yoga lends us to lovingly access our inner child. We will gently get to know them and what it is they are whispering (or screaming!) to us. This is an opportunity to listen and love them.

This work is useful in times of stress or anxiety, also to help break repetitive negative thought patterns.

This workshop is open to all-levels of practice, unless you have physical therapeutic needs that would not be suited for a group practice.

If possible, please bring a photo of yourself as a youngster!

We all have signals in our bodies that tell us when to slow down, when to rev things up, when to say no, and when to jump in and try. In this workshop we will explore through asana the triumph of listening intently to what is being keenly communicated and how not to bulldoze through it. We will also explore what may be fear and what may be a legitimate signal to say NO! All levels of practice with some previous yoga asana experience welcome. Expect a fun class of movement and contemplation.

When he moved to the U.S. he discovered that people need connection and serenity to offset the stress and isolation of modern lifestyle. He has dedicated his work to introduce America to the warmth and spiritual strength of Traditional Tibetan culture while working to ensure the continued robust existence of Tibetan traditions. He hopes you will join him in building this community and moving toward a more enlightened, balanced and harmonious path.
